Recovery Care Services (RCS) is a dedicated program within Catholic Human Services that provides compassionate, peer-based support to individuals navigating the challenges of substance use recovery. Rooted in lived experience and grounded in dignity, RCS is here to walk alongside individuals as they build healthy, fulfilling lives in recovery.

This program delivers Medicaid-eligible behavioral health, care management, and coordination for individuals with alcohol, stimulant, or opioid use disorders.  Our services provide consistent, compassionate recovery care without disruption to their existing medical, treatment or community-based relationships. Services are provided across northern Michigan; in person, virtually or through a mobile unit.

 

Our Recovery Care Team are individuals in long-term recovery who offer hope, understanding, and practical guidance. Through a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach, we help people access the tools, resources, and encouragement they need to move forward—on their terms.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Personalized Recovery Support
    Individualized plans tailored to each person’s goals, strengths, and needs. The recovery plans can focus on four areas that include your physical health, mental health, recovery health and social needs.

  • Peer Recovery Coaching
    One-on-one support from certified professionals who have walked the path of recovery themselves.

  • Navigation & Connection
    Help accessing housing, transportation, employment, healthcare, support groups, and other critical services.

  • Long-Term Engagement
    Ongoing support through all stages of recovery, from early intervention to long-term wellness.
