Foster Care Supportive Visitation

The Foster Case Supportive Visitation/In-Home Parent Education Program (FCSV) provides an intensive individualized parent-child visit approach. This program allows for the parent to receive increased supportive services in preparation for, and after each visit, to assist in achieving the goal of reunification in a timely manner.

The FCSV program is short-term in-home parent education program that is designed for the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. DHHS is the gateway for acceptance of families for this service, and families may be referred by a Foster Care Worker with reunification as the permanency plan. Program services are voluntary and without regard to family income.
