Against the backdrop of accelerating pressures in everyday life, CHS offers counseling to help people work through an array of difficult problems. We use best practice counseling strategies within a person-centered, strengths-based approach to empower individuals and families to work toward their goals. We strictly adhere to state and federal confidentiality guidelines and services are provided regardless of religion, age, gender, national origin, or financial ability.
Our counselors work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are experiencing any of the following:
- Marital, family, or relationship conflict
- Mild to moderate mental health issues
- Adjustment-related problems
- Loss and Grief
- Difficulty managing stress
- Anxiety and depression
Fees are based on family income on a sliding fee scale. The program is partially subsidized by the United Way and Catholic Services Appeal and health insurance may cover costs depending on treatment issues and policy provisions.
Services are provided by licensed Master’s level social workers and counselors. We are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), an international accrediting body based in Tucson, Arizona.
