Don Schmuckal

Don grew up in Traverse City and attended Grand Valley State College where he earned a teaching degree in Elementary Education.  He then taught at St. Mary Cathedral School for seven years at the junior high level.  After leaving Gaylord, he lived for nineteen years in Alaska and Washington working in a variety of jobs.  Returning to Traverse City in 2001, he now lives and works for his father and teaches classes for the American Red Cross in Traverse City.

He is currently on the boards of the American Red Cross in Traverse City and the Art and Mary Schmuckal Family Foundation.  In 2006, he joined the Catholic Human Services Board of Directors.

Don likes to golf, hike and bicycle whenever possible.
