Domestic Adoption
We believe we serve families who are grappling with untimely or unsupported pregnancies well by serving prospective adoptive parents well. The greatest gift a program can give to prospective birthparents is access to well-prepared, gracious adoptive parents. These informed, hospitable adoptive parents are also great news for children, too. Every aspect of our work is offered with an eye toward educating and preparing participants for the challenges of adoption.Catholic Human Services primarily arranges for the adoption of newborn children. We offer a seamless program that begins with orientation and moves on in a natural progression including pre-application education, intake, home study, continuing education, placement services, and supervisory reports. We do not offer these services on a piecemeal basis.
Our adoption services are available to residents of the 21 counties of Northern Lower Michigan.
