David Basler

David is a member of St. Francis Parish in Traverse City, where he is a lector and hospital Eucharistic minister. He also remains active as a member and treasurer of St. Patrick Parish Men's Club, having been a founding member of that parish. David has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Ferris State University, as well as a Master's degree in Social Work from Michigan State University. He recently retired as a C.P.A., having served clients in and around Traverse City for 30+ years.

David and his wife Lynn are the proud parents of six children and ten grandchildren. David enjoys working as a volunteer at the hospital, hunting and fishing; while he and Lynn enjoy golfing, traveling, reading and going to movies, when not spending time with children and grandchildren.
